Salty Dawg Saloon

Learn about the great history of The Salty Dawg Saloon (one of the first structures built in Homer, Alaska in the 1890's; a post office; railroad station and others) on their website.  The Salty Dawg Saloon opened in 1957, just before Alaska achieved statehood in 1959.

John Warren's establishment is one of Homer's foremost landmarks to this day.
